Tour Plan

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe and Overnight Stay

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, our guide will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel near Lake Victoria. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a relaxed evening and safari briefing in preparation for the journey ahead.


Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

After breakfast, we drive north to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest and most spectacular wildlife park. The journey offers views of rural countryside and local communities. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and relax while enjoying views of the Nile and surrounding savannah.


Day 3: Game Drive and Nile Boat Cruise to the Falls

Start the day with a morning game drive, searching for giraffes, elephants, lions, buffalo, and antelopes. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise on the Nile River to the base of Murchison Falls, spotting hippos, crocodiles, and abundant birdlife. A guided walk to the top of the falls offers breathtaking views.


Day 4: Transfer to Kibale National Park

After breakfast, we depart for Kibale National Park, passing through scenic landscapes and tea-growing regions. Arrive in the afternoon, check into your lodge, and relax in preparation for chimpanzee tracking.


Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale Forest

Enjoy an early breakfast before heading into the forest for chimpanzee tracking. Trek with expert guides to locate chimpanzees and observe their complex social behaviors. After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch and an afternoon at leisure.


Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Breakfast and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. On arrival, check into your lodge and enjoy views over the savannah plains. If you have time you can do an optional evening game drive.


Day 7: Game Drive and Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

Enjoy an early game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, followed by an afternoon Kazinga Channel boat cruise. This is one of the best places in Uganda to see hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and water birds at close range.


Day 8: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

After breakfast, we drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, traveling through dramatic highland scenery and rural villages. Arrive at your lodge and attend a briefing for gorilla trekking.


Day 9: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Today is a major highlight. After an early breakfast, trek into the forest for your mountain gorilla trekking experience. Once you locate a gorilla family, spend one unforgettable hour observing them in their natural environment. Return to the lodge for rest and celebration.


Day 10: Lake Bunyonyi Relaxation and Cultural Experience

After breakfast, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, known for its stunning scenery and peaceful atmosphere. Enjoy a relaxed day with optional canoeing, swimming, or community visits to nearby villages.


Day 11: Transfer to Rwanda – Volcanoes National Park

We depart Uganda and cross into Rwanda, continuing to Volcanoes National Park. Enjoy Rwanda’s rolling hills and volcanic landscapes. Check into your lodge and relax ahead of more primate adventures.


Day 12: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park

After an early breakfast, head into the forest for your second gorilla trekking experience, this time in Rwanda. This allows you to compare two unique gorilla habitats and trekking styles. Return to your lodge for relaxation.


Day 13: Golden Monkey Tracking and Cultural Visit

Begin the day with golden monkey tracking in the bamboo forests of Volcanoes National Park. In the afternoon, enjoy a cultural village visit, learning about Rwandan traditions, music, and daily life.


Day 14: Transfer to Kigali City and Departure

After breakfast, we drive to Kigali for a short city tour, depending on flight schedules. You will then be transferred to Kigali International Airport for your departure, marking the end of your grand Uganda and Rwanda primate safari adventure.
