Tour Plan

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi, Kenya

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, our guide will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. Relax and enjoy a briefing about the upcoming safari adventure.

Day 2: Transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, drive through the Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya’s premier wildlife destination. Arrive in time for lunch followed by an afternoon game drive, spotting lions, elephants, cheetahs, and giraffes. Check into your lodge or luxury camp for overnight.

Day 3: Full Day Game Drives in Masai Mara

Spend the day on morning and afternoon game drives, tracking predators and observing abundant wildlife. Optional activities include a sunrise hot air balloon safari or a visit to a local Maasai village to learn about culture and traditions.

Day 4: Morning Game Drive & Afternoon Exploration

Start the day with an early morning game drive for prime wildlife sightings. In the afternoon, explore additional areas of the reserve, taking in the vast landscapes and searching for leopards, rhinos, and plains game. Overnight at your lodge or camp.

Day 5: Morning Game Drive & Return to Nairobi / Departure

Enjoy a final morning game drive in the Masai Mara to maximize wildlife sightings. After breakfast, drive back to Nairobi and transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your 5-day Kenya Big Five Safari: Maasai Mara & Beyond.
