Tour Plan
Day 1: Arrival in Kigali, Rwanda
Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, our guide will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. Depending on arrival time, relax and enjoy a briefing about the upcoming tour.
Day 2: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
After breakfast, drive to Volcanoes National Park, Rwanda’s volcanic region and home to mountain gorillas. Enjoy scenic views along the way and check into your lodge. Attend a briefing for gorilla trekking.
Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park
Start early for your mountain gorilla trekking experience. Trek through bamboo forests with our guide to locate a gorilla family and spend one unforgettable hour observing them. Return to the lodge for relaxation.
Day 4: Golden Monkey Tracking & Cultural Experience
Begin the day with golden monkey tracking in the bamboo forests of Volcanoes National Park. In the afternoon, visit a local cultural village to learn about Rwandan traditions, crafts, and daily life. Overnight at your lodge.
Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Uganda
After breakfast, we cross into Uganda and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Scenic highlands and local villages line the route. Check into your lodge and prepare for the next day’s gorilla trekking adventure.
Day 6: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
After an early breakfast, embark on your mountain gorilla trekking expedition in Bwindi. Spend one hour observing gorillas in their natural habitat. Return to the lodge for relaxation and reflection on the incredible experience.
Day 7: Transfer to Entebbe / Kigali and Departure
After breakfast, drive to Entebbe, Uganda, or return to Kigali, Rwanda, depending on your flight schedule. Our guide will transfer you to the airport for your departure, marking the end of your 7-day Rwanda & Uganda tour.
