Tour Plan

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe & Transfer to Kibale Forest

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, your safari guide will welcome you and begin the scenic drive to Kibale Forest National Park in western Uganda. The journey takes you through vibrant towns, tea plantations, and rolling countryside with views of the Rwenzori Mountains on clear days. Arrive in the evening, check into your lodge, enjoy dinner, and receive a briefing about the upcoming primate experiences.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking & Bigodi Wetland Community Walk

After an early breakfast, head to Kibale Forest headquarters for a briefing before entering the rainforest for chimpanzee tracking. Guided by experienced rangers, trek through dense forest in search of chimpanzee families and spend time observing their social behaviors, calls, and movements in the canopy.

In the afternoon, visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, a community-run conservation area rich in biodiversity. Enjoy a guided walk where you may see red colobus monkeys, black-and-white colobus, baboons, and numerous bird species. This visit directly supports local community projects. Return to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, depart Kibale and drive south toward Queen Elizabeth National Park. The scenic route passes crater lakes, small farms, and open savannah landscapes as you descend into the Albertine Rift Valley. Arrive in the afternoon with chances to spot elephants or buffalo near the park entrance. Check into your lodge, relax, and enjoy sunset views over the savannah plains.

Day 4: Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

Begin your day with an early morning game drive in the Kasenyi Plains, one of the best wildlife areas in the park. Look for lions hunting Uganda kob, large elephant herds, buffalo, warthogs, and various antelope species.

In the afternoon, take a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, famous for dense populations of hippos and Nile crocodiles. You may also see elephants and buffalo drinking along the shores, plus spectacular water birds. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, enjoy a game drive en route as you travel through the Ishasha sector, renowned for its rare tree-climbing lions often resting in fig trees. Continue through scenic highlands and terraced hills toward Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home of the mountain gorillas. Arrive in the late afternoon, check into your lodge, and attend a briefing about gorilla trekking procedures and conservation rules.

Day 6: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest

Wake early for breakfast and transfer to the park headquarters for a pre-trek briefing. Join a group led by experienced trackers and hike through dense rainforest terrain in search of a habituated gorilla family. Trekking can take several hours depending on the gorillas’ location.

Once found, you will spend one unforgettable hour observing the gorillas as they feed, groom, and interact. After the trek, return to your lodge for a well-deserved rest, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 7: Return to Entebbe & Departure

After breakfast, begin the scenic drive back to Entebbe, passing through rolling hills, rural villages, and farmland. Stop at the Equator crossing for photos and souvenir shopping before continuing to the airport. Arrive in time for your onward flight, marking the end of an incredible Uganda primate and wildlife safari
